Never, Never, Never Again…
I swear by all things that are aggravating and just a real pain the buttocks! Please for the sake of your sanity do not ever order “Propolene” through the television or their website www.officialpropolenewebsite.com! This company is so full of shit and just down right dirty in its’ tactics to get you to sign up.
This all started on October 4th, I saw the T.V. ad and thought well it’s worth the shot, plus the deal was pretty good. So I thought… first off the phone sales representative tried repeatedly to sell me every little “add-on” bonus this or that from A to Z. I told him several times I only want what I seen advertised on T.V., nothing more or less. HE would reply OK, I understand and then start to read through their scripted sales pitch for more bonuses… after expressing my anger even more and getting completely fed up with the order process I wanted it canceled right then. He finally realized I was pissed and said ok I will only place your order for $29.95 and send out your two (2) bottles of Propolene and two (2) bottles of Excelerene.
Well the order was placed after 30-50 minutes of arguing about what I wanted to order. The sales rep mentioned to visit their web site for info and order status. So I went about 10 minutes after I got off the phone. Started reading some of the FAQs, other info and basic stuff; then I saw the disclaimer at the bottom of the site in small text:
Our TV Offer: Try Propolene For Only $29.95 - Receive your risk-free trial bottle of Propolene PLUS your free bottle and you are billed just $29.95 today. If in 30 days you are pleased with your results there is one additional payment of $59.95. 100% Money Back Guarantee.
Ohh just how funny was this? First off the T.V. ad doesn’t clarify this information clearly and state that you are buying “into” a Trial period and setting yourself up for a total purchase of $90.00! As I thought about this scam way of sucking people into this purchase I realized the phone sales rep didn’t mention this information either. I was fumed. I immediately called back to cancel and give them shit about this lousy way of selling their product. I asked for supervisor as soon as I had someone on the phone. They fed me some garbage saying that they couldn’t cancel the order… saying it wasn’t fully in the system and when it was the order would be shipped by then. So is this translating to that they can’t cancel it because they do not want to, and that it’ll ship out even though it’s not in our system? Yeahhh…. okay.
Anyway they said I’d have to call the customer service number when they were open during the week. Okay I’ll do that. So I call up the following business day; they now tell me that the order was placed and couldn’t be canceled. I was pissed… royally. They went on to say that a refund couldn’t be issued until the product was returned. So now I’d be responsible for returning the product with my money for shipping. Lovely. So anyway… I allow time to pass to wait for the package so I can gladly ship it back and get them off my back.
The other day I check my bank account to make sure everything is legit. I notice that Propolene has returned my $29.95 and I hadn’t even received my package yet…? Did they cancel the order, was it not shipped out or did they return the $29.95 and knew it was shipped out so that in 30 days if it wasn’t returned they could bill me $90!? Those were the questions in my mind… so of course I was going to call today. After reaching she stated that I was issued a refund on the 11th and that no future billings would occur. I told her I didn’t receive it yet so it wasn’t shipped back… she didn’t know.
All in all this experience sucked and I wouldn’t do it again if I was begged to! Thank you kindly for my money back Propolene, but you suck and so does your advertising, sales reps and overall business ethics!
