Call of Duty 2 - Xbox360 Style

Well… finally opened up the game (COD2) and I’m partially happy and partially let down. The single player is immaculant from what I can tell so far; intense gunfire, action everywhere, screen candy and effects to make you momma blush! Though my gaming style has adapted, I now lean more towards online gaming much more than single player aspects. Only a select few games have been able to hold my attention long enough for good gaming offline - Kameo, Jade Empire, Zelda and Mario titles are some.

I made it through the Basic Training and was in awe the entire time! The game is gorgeous, but graphics aren’t everything to me. One aspect the game truly shines in is the single player campaign. I’m sure it will be a nice experience… what holds me to a game though is online, that is where re-playability is at. This game fails, and in my opinion does so miserably! Okay it’s only 8 players or 4 Vs. 4 online I can live past that, the graphics take no blow or downsize from being online… nice; the pain and suffering is the online interface all together. No real lobby, next to impossible to gather up friends to play and after a match you’re booted back to the drawing board to start over.

I sincerely wonder how MS allows for such prehistoric usability in a game not to mention poor lack of features online which is where Xbox LIVE! is king…

EA is garbage and once again… have shown it through a nice “Fuck You” consumer game.
