I finally got my iLife 06 installed and decided to, naturally of course, play with the updated iApps to see what type of neatness and good Apple goodness could be found! I began with iPhoto being that I use that mainly from the rest of the apps, first noticeable aspect was that they have unified the overall look of the iApps such as to iTunes! Nice touch. Seen a new feature for “Photocasts” but seems to rely on a .Mac account. Bummer… just might have to invest into one.

Then I jumped into iDVD to see what goodness would be blessed upon me. Same unified user interface, nice; new themes… and who knew what else. So I did what any creative person should do, create something! A new custom DVD based solely on my trip to Butterfly Rainforest with Erin and her family.

Well… the cable is back on, with a DVR and Digital Cable service! I had called and spoke with a supervisor whom I expressed my grief about having it cut off for no apparent reason, and they made me a killer offer. Same time the cable man was out here doing the install of the boxes UPS shows up with a package… my 360 had returned from MS’s Repair Center! Would it work this time around? Would it connect to Xbox Live properly? Those were the questions swarming my head like worrisome little bees looking for sweet sweet pollen.

Only time would tell…

That is something not too many people expect ever! Well it was my mom calling from SC with an eager request of my brash authority to handle a situation. Seems that one of my cousins ended up violating their probation and some people were gleefully helping their-selves to his belongings… some friends huh?

Well needless to say I wasn’t much help in accomplishing what was exactly asked of me, to move his van with the remanding property that belonged to him, because of some strange occurrence of no-one no knowing where the key was. The whole ordeal is screwed up and it is mainly because of drugs, greed and pure assholish attitudes. I’ve learned from experiences like these… you get what you reap, if you hang with the wrong crowds, druggies, thieves, bad-asses and the like will back-stab in a blink of an eye.

I hope my cousin pulls through and get past all this.

After having such a great, wonderful and truly nice time a couple weeks back down in south Florida at Butterfly World… Erin’s Dad had found out about a museum attraction opening up in Gainesville; Butterfly Forest at the University of Florida! What was really great about it this was it was only about 30 minutes instead of 4-5 hours and it was done by the university!

Well without much more mumbo-jumbo here are the pictures!

As some may have seen me and my sweetheart visited Butterfly World recently. It was quite a fun experience! Here is a photo I had taken; now the only adjustments and tweaking I did was:

• Selected the buttefly and flower… feathered with 2px
• Desaturated the background
• Added a 3.5px Gaussion Blur to the background

Pretty picture huh? I tend to think so :)

Well this sucks… since May 05′ I’ve had cable and RoadRunner service. Today a Brighthouse field technician knocks on my door to let me know it was connected illegally! I asked him if he was accusing me, and he had no response. I then told him how that’s how it was connected since day one; that the sub-contracted installation guy hooked it up. I instantly got on the phone with customer support and asked for an explanation… it pretty much boiled down to having to place an order for cable and now it will take two days to get a tech out to install it.

Joy… have to find something more creative than have the tube on now.

Now if only Wordpress could fix the quick-tags for Safari I’d be pimpin’!

I’ve put my touch on my sweetheart’s scrap-booking… I apply my skills with custom designed titles and graphics. Currently I’m working on Christmas and Butterfly World title. I’ll update this post with the finished designs.

Well the holidays was satisfying for me. I’m past the years of the desire to get gift, though it’s nice and makes you feel good it’s not mandatory. My sweetheart got me something that was great and my mother got me some nice gifts also, to me that is perfect!

As for family, me and the sweetie had christmas dinner together, she made her kick ass pasta and sauce! We did have plans to go to Louisiana to visit her brothers and be with her family for New Years, but due to some unfortunate decisions it didn’t happen. Bummer.

However, we did manage to have our own special outing for New Years! We took a trip down south to Fort Lauderdale to Butterfly World… which of course we brought a camera! Check out the pictures!

Indeed it has since I updated this blog. Long overdue, didn’t know it could be so time consuming, but well worth it because it is in fact a digital asset of memories and thoughts…
