Fat Attack! - Diet & Fitness

Wow… after over examining this list of the top 10 worst fast foods I just want to go on a fast-food-strike! For the most part most of these meals should already be logically known not to be good for you. So eat right people; U.S. has the highest rate of obesity…

Appointment Transportation

Two weeks ago at this exact time I was waiting for transportation; they arrive an hour late then, so what are the chances of making it now?

Tick… Tock…

We’ll see. All I know us my stomach has taken the form of a sailor’s knot with on what to make as my final decision.

Weaned Off of FFXI and Hooked on Halo 2

Well fortunately I’ve laid to rest my FFXI game disc that seemingly had a strong conviction of my time for a short amount while. Though the game is very much enjoyable it just doesn’t offer any true satisfaction of accomplishment… ever. The game is never conquered or beaten, therefore becoming more of a chore, job, and task that I just don’t care to partake in.

Now to fill my FFXI void enters, not like it’s a new joy, Halo 2. This game just makes for some serious fun or down-right hateful games. It unarguably the best Live interface to date with simple methods for getting a full game established. Though this simplistic method is yet so very intricate and filled with an enormous arsenal of custom creation games along with the Bungie managed game types.

I’m just not quite sure what keeps me so hooked though… I mean I was so very lucky to have a loving sweetheart that bought me my Xbox 360 on midnight launch yet I play a what 2-3 year old game in it mainly? Isn’t that absurdly gay?

We had enjoyed completing Kameo and there just hasn’t been any games released for the 360 that we feel we’d enjoy. Soon I hope. Maybe I should just finish up G.R.A.W. or Full Auto, both are great, I just can’t find the drive to stick with them…

Decisions… Decisions

Tomorrow I have an appointment with the doctor that is going to ask me a single question: Do I want to have surgery? I’m scared, nervous, frightened, and worried all at once! Of course I want my hand fixed, but I don’t get a guarantee of it fixing my hand then on top of that the very much likely complications that are a guarantee.

Damn this sucks big time…

Catch-22 Trying to Get School Books

A couple of things are just totally wrong in regards to obtaining school books needed for my Fall term starting August 21st; and frankly it’s down right wrong dammit! First, the whole rule in retrospect to so called defined school text books only pertains to books priced at $50.00 or less. Now wasn’t that an asinine decision made for that limit?! Sheesh… $50.00 whole dollar-roos, whiptie freaking do. Second the college bookstore itself has set some guidelines that also, even if the limit was allowed to succeed past $50.00, would cease my attempt to purchase books; they say if books are purchased in July that there is only 2 weeks allowed for selling them back. So that there nulls the idea of getting them purchased during the Tax free time alloted slot. Then… THEN, Financial Aid only allows purchases to begin on or past August 14th.

Pretty well sealed up rules and policies into maybe saving a couple of bucks for some grub… that would be nice, while starving myself to try and budget school, rent, bills, and all other necessary things.

Life is good.

Oral Presentation and Microsoft’s Powerpoint

Like whoa… on another level.
Yea, that about sums up my entire experience so far with constructing and planning out this oral presentation for my sweetheart. I always had a slight and curious interest in creating a Powerpoint presentation, but was never actually given the project to do so. Well kiddies… the time is now! So brace for some serious learning and hiccups along the way. I initially was all gun-hoed because I was using the elegantly styled Apple Keynote; no such luck though, for some crud reason even though it would export to .pot format darn MS Powerpoint just wouldn’t keep all the proper formatting, simple layout structure, sleek Apple transitions, or nothing! It was aggravating and very distressing. So lo and behold, I opened up the monster itself, Powerpoint. Though it seems to have all the options it just seems too much dammit. It’s Microssoft’s true to form cluttered messes and over complex interfaces. It’s driving me nuts really. I sincerely can see why Microsoft has MCSE and all other types of proper certification for their applications and system operating systems… a Master’s degree, nothing short of, to conquer the zen of Microsoft.

I will succeed and I will overcome this entire project with a smile.

Colors are Cool

After taking in that initial video lesson on colors and there RELATIVE properties have I only now been so color-blinded! It was amazing how the brain actually alters are perception of colors and their display in accordance with values, contrast, focus, hue, and etc… I’m steaming here with ideas for a project to apply this new found knowledge!

Learning with the New Age

I’ve been in denial for far too long on new age learning methods; this isn’t a crime right? It should be! Being completely aware of Lynda.com and its’ purpose of learning I’ve not taking any steps into acquiring their lessons. Either from being completely lazy or just not a smidgen of motivation, I’ve been awfully overlooking some very powerful resources for learning new things. Well about 20 minutes ago I finished watching 1 out of 2 video tutorials for Working with Color. I should really kick myself in my ass…. hard!

I sincerely encourage any one that has been procrastinating on learning new subjects to go to Lynda.com and snag a couple lessons to simply amaze yourself! I can’t wait to dig deeper into other subjects and information!

Happy Birthday to Erin

Wow… seems like there was just a birthday the other day didn’t it? Well my sweetheart’s, Erin, is today. Simple plans for us, because with the chaos of school and moving recently we just need a nice, peaceful, calm, and serene night together. Dinner at the Chinese restaurant and then back to my place for some movie snuggling goodness.

Amsterdam Game-Addiction Clinic Opens

Well… not only are these facilities acutely needed, they are much needed here state-side as well! This is a very well known plague that is seemingly and disgustedly overlooked. Luckily the activity is legal unlike drinking and driving or drugs, but nonetheless can wreak havoc on social behavior and mentality.

I do hope to see a future state clinic; I, personally, would probably attend!

Happy Birthday to Me!

It’s my day today… all day. My special day of being born and brought into this world of mystery and dreams. No special planned events, because of my recent move I’m sort of super low on funds and just budgeting to get by right now. Though I will carry my head high and smile all day today.

Someone out there blow out a candle or two and eat some cake for me will ya? Hey, if you want you can even take pictures of it and email it me!

Genius Transformation Initiated

I recently became a member at a truly great torrent tracker for, get this, all educational and informational materials. Talk about nice nice nice! Let’s just conservatively say in the past three humble days I’ve pushed out 7.33GBs and sucked in: 7.05GBs, and all in information goodness. Now to just to find the discipline and time to actually use it.

First I indulge myself into The Einstein Factor; I’m hooked, instantly! This knowledge is beyond any fascination I’ve ever experienced! I sincerely recommend this collection to anyone that is in search of enlightenment and release. The first 2 tracks are slow and not too interesting, but on the 3rd I was blown away with amazing facts and thoughts. I can not wait to devote more time into getting involved with this Audio-book!

I have so much more too, I will, hopefully, get back with some of the other treasures that are a must get! If your nice I might even share the site for some people to join before they close up and resort to invitations only.

The Poo Got Deeper

Well after about a total of around 2-3 hours of sleep finally this morning, from my nerves being so zinged out, trying to decide wither to go through with the surgery or not. I yank my restless run-dead body from the soft sheets around 7am; tired and millions of “what-ifs” are blasting through my brain. I figure I have about 4 hours to calmly unwind and attempt a short-shot of relaxing. Not a chance…

Credit Disputing Goodness

Well.. I’ve known my credit was tainted because of my dreaded last relationship! She, the bitch, literally spanked, tied-up, and brutally violated my innocent credit report and accounts. Wether it was done intentionally or purposely in an evil world wide plot against men, still puzzles me. It’s not even near comical. It royally sucks monkey poo…
Read on for a funny credit adventure

Needing a Cell Phone

Well, now that I’ve moved into my new place and have comfortably settled down, so it seems. I’m aware that not having a phone at my residence proves to be a very inconvenient bother. At first I didn’t feel that a phone was needed, I would just call out when needed and avoid the aggravations of tele-market-queers; well I’m wrong. I have been needing to make several important calls to places more frequently than expected…

Skype to the RESCUE!
Yes indeed, as I lean more towards technical wonders and solutions for easy everyday tasks I’ve jumped upon the Skype wagon for good free outgoing calling. What a remarkable service; free, intuitive, simple, quality. What is there to complain about? Nothing.

Unfortunately though Skype’s freebie run isn’t lasting forever… (darn the corporate greedy bastards)
I’m hoping to save up to get a respectable cell phone, one of today’s necessities, plan with the best options, minute usage, and sleek tech features. Just sucks though because then there is another bill to maintain.

Donations would be greatly still appreciated if anyone cares to share some help. No, it’s not a plea for a way out, it’s a simple ask for help in terms of giving me that extra boost of much needed financial deprive I have.
That’s life.

Astonishing Accomplishment

It’s truly remarkable how insanely creative some individuals are out there in this world. I haven’t been a close follower of the Red Paper Clip extravaganza, but I will say that was sincerely a digital adventure to create. The vast audience that Mr. Kyle has captured into his little wonder is nothing short than magic. I gave my thoughts to him left in a Skype voicemail, I was really hoping to personally speak to him though maybe one day I can.

I whole heartedly would like to attend his “House Warming Party” for his newly and wittingly acquired home in Kipling Saskatchewan Canada. Hopefully he’ll create videos and photo galleries galore to show off all the fun I’m missing!

Kyle Macdonald, once again great job in your accomplishment and media earthquake. Cheers from Florida!

New Pirates of the Caribbean

Not only is it doing an amazing job of nabbing people’s attention to see it but it was a wonderfully amazing flick the first time around! I do so hope that this second iteration is well worthy of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” name; not just another IP being used to monopolize on profits.

Can anyone fill me in as to if it is better or worse to the first?

Registered for School

Attended my 2pm registration class today at CFCC, and I’m hyped! The financial aid is in, my initial first three classes are scheduled and paid from my awarded financial aid; I have an appointment on the the 10th with the Admissions Advisor to discuss my degree track and possibly layout a course schedule for the next few terms.

Life feels good right now! Now, just to get this medical injury taken care safely so that I can find some type of part-time work I’ll be able to withstand with my poor wrist’s condition.

RECAP:

  • Got Apartment!
  • Enrolled into School!

Yes, two very determined, smart, and life impacting stages that are by no means simple to take on solo; yet I’ve done it, struggling along the way, but it has been done. Now for that charge into the vague, yet planned, future for brighter and better things.
