Movie Night - Saw III

Usually sequels hardly ever live up to their original Saw’s debut; yet, in this case with the sick demonic flick of this trilogy (will there be a IV?) all three have been quite up to par with its first movie! Although from such the crazy twist we never expected in the first one… Jigsaw getting up off the ground, after laying there throughout he whole ordeal, was just a wow. So, since then we’ve all been anticipating these absurd twists of games and how it all pans out. I’ve not once guessed either Saw 2 nor Saw 3’s endings; they were just unbelievable.

Luckily for me, having a loving sweet girl - my sweetheart, she treated us out tonight to the movie. We both were really excited about seeing it. It was crowded; especially for such a small city we live in too. We arrived about 30 minutes early and claimed stake on two perfect seats. Roughly, at about 15 minutes before show time I went ot the snack counter and got the famous movie theater buttered popcorn and large cokes. Just within that short span of going to the snack vendors and getting back the Saw III section had quickly began to fill up… Lights dimmed, surround speakers spasmed to life with screaming, and the full room grew silent; it was time for some thrilling horror!

I won’t spoil one minute of this movie. All I have to say is it was just as gruesome as previous iterations, and this ending will leave you going “NO WAY” all over again.

Technorati; Reclaiming Blog

That title sounds a little pointless. Well, I’ve been having some sort of issues to where Technorati is not updating my posts!! It had gotten to be 138 134 days late of not updating. I’ve exhausted every method I could run across online with and now I’m just deleted my claim and am re-sending it. Here’s to hoping…

Nyko’s Intercooler May Burninate the Xbox 360

Quite funny how I’m a frequenter of the GameFAQS message boards and roughly 90% of the users have praised this cooling accessory; finding it severely humorous… really. Simply, if ‘know-it-alls‘ would just heed Microsoft’s warnings and keep the console in a well ventilated area, the Xbox 360 would function just fine.

Love and Miss You Baby!

It’s so lonely here without you; it sucks not having you around to hold, snuggle and cuddle with throughout the night. You really do make me feel so worth my existence in this strange world. I’m not perfect… I even know I can be a serious piece of poo from time to time, but above all that I love you Erin Mire. I try so hard to be everything you need and want. I want to make you the happiest woman in life. I will do anything you ever ask of me.

Just understand how I feel sometimes too, especially right now; I’m really scared. I don’t think I never felt this scared, well, or at least I can’t remember I did. You are the one I need by my side to hold my hand and lean on me. Your my true love that comes only once in a lifetime; because, the rest is just foolish games with shallow securities and hurtful times.

I need you baby, I need you forever.

Gaming Heaven Holiday

It just isn’t fair, not for anyone — gamers or loving parents footing the bill. This holiday, the grand year of 2006, is going to break a lot of bank accounts and leave wallets/purses cashless. Luckily I’m very content with my Xbox 360 and have no desire for the lousy PS3 or innovative Wii coming out next month. It is going to be hot hot hot! I’m willing to bet PS3’s will sell like gold on eBay and Wii will dish out a great way to game in an all new way.

Now, even though I’m content with my system choice this generation I too have a dilemma: which games to get and which to pass? Developers have had adequate time to learn 360’s architect so that they can dish out astounding graphical greatness! My recent game, that my sweetheart love bought me, was Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Talk about a new leaf in one of the most amazing series ever! Then comes next month, November, with its releases that have my attention boosted way up:

  • F.E.A.R
  • Call of Duty 3
  • Gears of War Collector’s Edition
  • Tony Hawk’s Project 8
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas Collector’s Edition

Just wow really… roughly that is a bill of $320 w/o tax! OUCH! Well cheers everyone, because here is a salute to a great holiday year with games galore of all kinds and forms!

Game on!

Gears of War || Rainbow Six: Vegas

Both!

These two titles are going to be very impressive, I believe. I haven’t played either, but it’s been almost a year since launch and everyone should know what happens when adequate time is given to developers — they present astounding results with amazing offerings of digital goodness! Time has elapsed since 360’s release so now developers have a better understanding of the hardware and can produce quality. No, I’m not inferring that games have been junk, but it just gets better with time passing; sort of like a wine’s elegant taste.

I sincerely feel both these games are “must have” titles and no one should pass them up. Rainbow Six: Vegas hopefully brings back some root game-play that keeps everyone addicted to Live for at least a year. For Gears of War, well, it should bring innovation and something fresh with a twist.

Just my insight on these up coming titles.

WordPress and Pinging Services

I’m not quite sure what might be the issue, but I just found out, after 130 days, that WordPress has not been pinging services. At least I don’t think it has. I logged in over at Technorati recently, just to realize that my blog hasn’t been updating with them for that long! Are you serious?

After reading some, I decided to install this plug-in: Smart Update Pinger. It seems a lot more effective for only pinging services when a “NEW” post is actually made rather than every single minor updated one.

I’m hoping after all this time I didn’t ban my blog off of some sites! If so, how or where would I inquire to possibly of removing such bans and to possibly start re-indexing?

Potion Factory Blog - Introducing Tangerine

After reading a small excerpt from TUAW, in regards to this application, I was hooked! I’m a huge music fan and treasure my collection. Any utility that offers new ways to interact with my vast library is more than welcomed from me. This program is still in BETA phase so expect hiccups; although, I’ve been running it quite smoothly so far.

Research Paper Topic

Ohhh Yeahhh….!
In my English Composition class the teacher has shoved onto me the adventures of writing a Research Paper! I’m scared; it has been a good long while since I’ve researched anything for school and written a comprehensive report. I could opt, and punk out, by using one of the numerous “Research Paper” servicing websites available to me. I’m not that low though; morals, standards, and a strong inclination to do it on my own drives me to be stonger.

While brain-storming at lunch the other day, I came up with a couple of topics that gained interest very swiftly. I’m just not sure if they suffice for the task at hand. Without any doubts, I do not want to research any political crap! I’m aiming more towards technology, video gaming, or AIDS. As for a solid topic within those fields, which is interesting, is another hurdle to clear.

Steve Jobs is Great

After reading his simple statement:

“It takes forever. By the time you’ve gone through all that, the girl’s got up and left! You’re much better off to take one of your earbuds out and put it in her ear. Then you’re connected with about two feet of headphone cable.”

Read a whole interview with Newsweek asking Mr. Jobs some iPod/MP3 things..

That is brilliant. Well Microsoft, if you can’t woo the females then you failed in this MP3 battle already; they definitely won’t buy themselves this so-called Zune device. Chances are ladies wouldn’t even consider it feasible for their male companions; simply because if it doesn’t attract them, then men won’t be interested either.

Good Choices

I just got back from washing my bike and of course what happens… I feel rain drops just as soon as I pull away down the street to “blow-dry” my bike. Lucky me. The nI was contemplating on picking up a bottle of Bacardi being that I just ran out today; I drove ABC Liquor, staring off into it’s giant windows of welcoming products on display. As I got nearly down to the Wal-Mart, in front of the Sheriff’s station, I whipped a u-turn to head home. Which coincidently is practically a street opposite of ABC. As I began to look at my turn it was my final decision — to Bacardi or not to Bacardi.

I went home; without the tarnishing beverage that controls so many individuals. I was strong. I AM strong!

School Assignment Overload

Whew, what an extremely busy and hectic weekend with school work. I tackled lots of good stuff and I’m still not done yet; I also have a new hybrid class I start on the 18th! Gotta love the constant moving rhythm of school and a productive life. Math and English were my tormenting enemies this weekend — slaying me with 6 mixed assignments of book and lab styles for Math was not nearly enough. English picked up any slack by torturing me with 2 Essays, 2 Book exercises and a Journal writing!

I feel this pressure is greatly accepted because it puts me in the predicament of handling business under extremities. As McDonald’s phrased… I’m Loving It; and it isn’t some burger or fries.

Time Flies

It does whether you’re having fun or not. I’ve been so involved with school and all the great homework that’s been assigned to me. Also been fighting off this pesty cold my body was ever so granted to catch. I really dislike being sick… it is just such a miserable feeling being sick all bummed out.

Life Update on Me

Well guess I need to play catch up with myself…
I’ve been intrigued by all sorts of new gadgets, software, and 360 games so let me first run out my list of Toys I Want!

It’s all just too much really; specially on my budget. Not to mention the temptation MacZOT brings!! Yea I’m a sucker I know… tell me, go on. Bet you won’t tell me to my face though now will you?

What else? Ummm… me and Erin are still together, and loving ever so more to each other. This will be the woman I marry. We both are struggling right now to deal with school and everyday living; though, we know it is all for the better of our futures. Sacrifice now to prosper later. Ahhh! My mom just got remarried, and she has really started getting back in the groove of life. Though I’m pretty sure me moving back out on my own helped her gain some peace of mind as well. I’m just too much too handle I believe. So far from what I’ve heard my mom is very happy and well taken care of with this new relationship; I just really hope that she is happy because she suffered for far too long. I love you mom!

Yes, I do reckon that wraps up a lot of things not covered in my life recently. School is good; I scored a 100% on my last Technology quiz. English is very demanding when done proper, though it is a great learning experience for me. Math is fun… weird and very confusing, but fun. It just amazes me how numbers can be manipulated in so many ways! Insane. I’ll let everyone know my last math test score tomorrow when I get it… cross your fingers.
