Disco BETA

After a wait that some may have sincerely gone insane over, the new, amazing, and burning sensation software, dubbed Disco, is out.

Read on for an impression along with detailed information of this wonderful new application!

This developer, Austin, first astounded the Mac community with the ground breaking AppZapper; a simple utility that Apple has over-looked for far too long. Well after gaining some very positive feedback from AZ, Austin then decided to take that simple fun zapping noise and flash user interaction to the next level.

Presenting… Disco! Innovation at its ultimate finest. It’s simply amazing how many powerful features can be shoved into a tiny UI that could please a blind man’s non-seeing-eye. Okay, that might be a little over the top; assuredly though, this small piece of software is just amazing. First off, the UI has a strong “wow” factor — it impresses nicely. Features of Disco don’t lack either:

  • Disc Sessions
  • Verification of Burn Data
  • Imaging in Popular Formats
  • Burning in 5 Modes
  • Discography (database of past burnt discs)
  • Brilliant Visual Effects of Smoke

All this and more coded into a sleek, friendly, and easily usable Mac application, but, at the same time offers options for power users as well.

Disco shines brightly in my broad ventures of shareware applications. I am 100% satisfied with my lucky MacZot purchase this time around. Even without Zot, this application is a steal at only $14.95! Don’t miss this great application.

As of right now, while using the BETA, I’m only having two issues with Disco that can easily be overlooked consider that it is in BETA and well I’m quite sure development will unfold in the coming months with fixes and features. 1st - Discography can’t be reseted it seems? I’ve deleted the Discography.database file yet it still reports that there were 3 discs burnt. 2nd - unfortunately for me I don’t get to bask in the glory of the smoke effect due to an out dated graphics card in my machine; hopefully I can upgrade as soon as possible. Other than those two minor quips this CD burning app is awesome! Seriously.

Disco, you have really burnt the Toast this time!
