Flickr Account Upgrade?
Well, since I’ve gotten my new camera, the awesome T1i, I’ve undoubtedly been taking several photos. Now, the dilemma is do I start to dole out the required $24.95 to Flickr for a “Pro: account that lifts the 200 photo limitation and gives me statistical goodies?
Is there better free alternatives? I know the membership fee for Flickr is very reasonable, just not sure if it’s another bill I want to incur. To Pro or not to Pro that is the question…?

TidySongs.com, Trustable Install?
So I’ve been hunting for some useful tools to clean, organize, and auto-magically add missing data to my music collection. I ran across one that seems almost promising until I am presented with its indifferent method for installing: Adobe AIR.
So, being presented with this window prior to the install of the Tidysongs, I instantly distrust the method and I’m unsure of it’s integrity or intent. Is this normal or typical Adobe Air procedure of installs?
Honestly, Unless the install window presents itself with assurance and indication that all is good I do believe Tidysongs is missing on a new customer

AT&T Discourages Me
So… after finally saving up some cash to purchase not one but two iPhones for both my wife and I, I excitedly entered Best Buy in hopes of switching over from my current provider to AT&T. I was wrong; seems I’m not at their expectations of credit worthiness and they requested a $300 deposit per iPhone on the account if I was to sign-up!
I was stunned… so to get this right they wanted $600 for each iPhone + the $300 for the purchase of the two phones (not including taxes)? That alone would of been $900+ to set up a new account. I will admit I know I don’t have the perfect credit but isn’t that a little absurd?
I propose this: they implement a cellphone grading scale based on your current/previous cell phone contracts; not your credit history overall. there should be a management system that a cellphone company can access to see your fulfillment to previous carriers contracts, payments late/on time, etc.

Am I FAIL?
Not sure what the whole “FAIL” requirements are… but I hope I am not in such with my blog. As for a quick status on activities:
- School Started (Super YAY).
- Computer was having an awesome (note sarcasm) issue.
- Moving sites to new server.
- Moving domains to new registar.
So I do believe I’ve been quite busy. Unfortunately, no iPhones for us yet! AT&T is requesting demanding an asinine amount of $300 per iPhone for just deposits! Ummm… no!
Google Voice
Received my invitation for the Google Voice project… you know it really amazes me at just how much this company works on and expands into. So after getting through the initial set-up, I am quite impressed with the service so far. I especially liked the ability to search for words in a phone numbers availability! I’m not how sure how much I’ll use the service, but I plan on utilizing it someway.

ISolated INcident
Well, Dane Cook’s new gig is out and abroad; I must be a critic and share my awesome opinion on it! Mainly, it rocks because it is all fresh material and not a few couple new one liners thrown into some old shenanigans. Much appreciated Mr. Cook. He really brings out some subjective matter and grabs the essence of hilarity perfectly, as always.
One thing, it seems Dane here enjoys Xbox 360 online gaming? I’ve seen him mention scenario of gaming online and with this new release he even throws out a Halo 3 quip. I don’t know about anyone else, but I would enjoy gaming with DC, the shit he would say while playing would have me balling in tears with laughter!
I emailed DC on this request so let’s see if he won’t be a douche about it

Server Issues…
Not quite sure what has been happening over at the new home of the web-server, Augustine.com, but within the last week several issues occurred. I’ve lost one of my email account users which I can’t re-create because it “already exists”, both of my websites macdynamix.com and freakytj.com have been down several times, and to top it off the person in charge, Mark, whom I spoke with on Friday said he would return my call within 10 minutes which wasn’t the case.
All I ask is that you either call back when you state you will giving me a ETA on when the issues may be corrected. I’ve missed some correspondence from the down time which was very crucial to some of the matters I am dwelling in.

Well, I can’t entirely relate to this issue from streaming from a computer, but I will contest that I do get several buffering screens while streaming to the Xbox 360!
I believe Netflix needs to do some tweaking to their services to make it more robust, smoother, and functional. Just my 2 cents…
