Ok, after playing a little deeper with SmugMug I’ve come to the realization that SmugMug is Flickr‘s older and well matured bigger brother/sister. Essentially SmugMug is for the real pros and inadvertently lacks the newbie (my current status as a photographer) sections.

Recently ran across SmugMug and now I’m tossed in between a dilemma… to stick with Flickr or move over to SmugMug? SmugMug has a lot going for it: customizing of galleries, photo protection, and a very professional presentation. Flickr is the king of communities, groups, and wider spread of integration into other widely used apps.

Unfortunately, I’ve not only neglected my own desire to write freely, but have fell short of keeping up with my photography also. Don’t frown too much, because hopefully these recent shots this morning will make you smile as they did for me!
Well, since I’ve gotten my new camera, the awesome T1i, I’ve undoubtedly been taking several photos. Now, the dilemma is do I start to dole out the required $24.95 to Flickr for a “Pro: account that lifts the 200 photo limitation and gives me statistical goodies?
